Care Assistants
We aim to hire and hold the best Our care assistants are the key resource in our agency. We look for people who are kind & caring, trustworthy & reliable and who have excellent communication skills. Our Care Assistants must also have the relevant experience & qualifications and wish to make a difference in the lives of older people and children & adults with disabilities.
Qualifications & Experience
Care Assistants must hold a Fetac Level 5 qualification for Health Care Assistants or in Social Care. These courses cover care of the Older Person and Children and Adults with Disabilities.
We have found that Care Assistants who pursue this Fetac Level 5 training in Health Care Assistants or in Social Care, etc. are committed to pursuing care for others as a career and that by gaining this qualification (which is a 1 to 2yr course) have shown their dedication to providing a professional level of care.
Care Assistants must have at least 6 months experience in working with Older People &/or Adults and Children with Disabilities.
All Care Assistants are Garda cleared and we require at least 2 written & spoken references from previous employers.
