Nursing Services
We were delighted to be chosen as their partners for delivery of this service as uniquely we can offer expertise of experience of home care with that of nursing care. We are committed to the success of this project with the expectation that the funding will be renewed, establishing this project as an on-going vital service to families in need of support. As care in the community is widely accepted as the way forward, InHome care places itself at the forefront of initiatives and developments that lead delivery of care in the home in the direction of client needs. The challenges and the learning they provide continue to develop the character of our company and our ability to respond to our clients.
Duties for nurses include:
- Intermittent cathaterisation of women
- Bladder washouts
- Monitoring of vital statistics ie blood pressure, pulse & respiration
- Respiratory tract suctioning via tracheostomy
- Changing dressings
- Administration of medication orally and through injection
- PEG feeding
- Bowel suppository - manual evacuation
