Mental Health Care
Inhome Care aims to provide services to people experiencing mild to severe mental health difficulties. These can frequently affect younger people who often require a high level of care. The families of these clients often find it very distressing to look after a person in the throes of a mental breakdown. Often the most basic activities of daily living (i.e. selecting what to wear, working out what to cook for dinner, motivation to clean or tidy) are a huge challenge to a person suffering from Depression, Schizophrenia or Bi-Polar Disorder.
The services will include:
- Drop in visits staggered over the course of the day
- Encouragement with washing and dressing (including bathing and showering)
- Encourage healthy eating
- Assist the client with all other activities of daily living
- Overnight care both sleepovers and waking duty
- Bring for walks outdoors and to the shops etc
- Bring out to cinemas, libraries, museums, galleries etc.
